TextMate: New Dialog System for Commands:

Included with the latest build of TextMate (r1305) is a new system for presenting dialogs. The new system allows you to create a custom interface in Interface Builder and then ask TextMate to present it as was it native. This is without writing any code at all.

This looks completely awesome. The screencast that accompanies the entry is worth looking at.

The downside of the last BBEdit update was that it cost money. The upside is that it didn’t cost that much money. I’ve had a few rainy-day “I don’t wanna dig back into Applescript” projects I’ve set aside, but the second I saw this I started wondering about them again in the context of being able to make much more polished tools with a lot richer input options.
