Fred Meyer – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

> Fred Meyer, Inc is a company founded in 1922 in downtown Portland, Oregon by Fred G. Meyer of the occultic Rosicrucian Order.

Then a bunch of boring stuff about the chain’s history.

I was kind of hoping for some dope on how the floor plan of the Hawthorne St. Fred Meyer is a secret map to some Rosicrucian catacombs or something.

On the other hand, I note that my own regular Fred Meyer store is store number 00153, which adds up to “9,” and my old regular Fred Meyer store is store number 00135, which also adds up to “9.”

Think about it.
