And speaking of NetNewsWire/MarsEdit: They’re on sale until NNW 2.1 ships. So you can get both for the combined price of $29.95 (which looks to be about $25 off the normal price for each bought separately).

The bundle deal is evidently only good until NNW 2.1 launches in a few weeks. There’s one other goody of sorts in the deal, too, in the form of a free two-year NewsGator Online subscription.

Per Brent’s entry on it:

> Existing users—people who already bought NetNewsWire or who buy NetNewsWire through this sale—will get a two-year NewsGator Online subscription for free, as well as all NetNewsWire updates for two years. (And, again, the software doesn’t stop working if the subscription lapses: you’ve bought the software.)

If you’re in the market for an RSS reader, NNW’s a good one to consider. It definitely introduced me to the difference between shareware in the old PC world and shareware in the Mac world. Day and night difference.
