Backhoe Assailant Aurora man charged in backhoe attack (reg req):

> A 65-year-old Aurora man was arrested Thursday after using his backhoe to smash a car trying to drive down the road in front of his Donald Road house.

> [...]

> The driver of the car, Sheena Brown of Clackamas, and her four passengers said they were driving on Donald Road when they came upon a backhoe tractor blocking the road, he said.

> The man operating it, Schmidt, reportedly yelled at them and said they were trying to kill him. None of the car occupants knew Schmidt.

> He then allegedly began smashing the car with his backhoe bucket, breaking the windows and severely damaging the car, police said.

People around here get really squirrelly after a few months with little sun. But, you know … props to the mad backhoe assailant. He’s taken “You kids get outta my yard!” to a whole new level.

well let me just say that this was an experience i could of done without going through.. i lost my license because of this mad man… All because the car he had smashed we didnt even own 24hrs yet and didnt have insurance on when this happened so not only did this psycho thrash our car but I as in me sheena lost my license for being in an uninsured motor vehicle accident and now have to file an sr22 for 3 years after getting my license back.. I think that its pretty weak for me to get punished for something that this man didnt even get punished for….. he got out of jail without being charged which is fine but i lost my license for doing nothing wrong…. So this just proves how messed up our state is and to make sure that you have insurance right away before you drive your new car….
