Admiring Feelings

Muscat Gummy“Its translucent color so alluring and taste and aroma so gentle and mellow offer admiring feelings of a graceful lady. Enjoy soft and juicy Kasugai Muscat Gummy.”

Gretchin introduced me to Muscat Gummies some little while ago, and I’ve been enamored with them ever since. They’re all over the place (including Cost Plus World Market, where I bought that package in the picture) but it still feels like some incredible score when I find them.

I can’t even describe the flavor. Something about them is, according to the wrapper, “100%,” but if that happens to be “natural” then the muscat is a truly disturbing grape with a hint of industrial ethers and perhaps a little plastic outgassing going on.

Think “Gummy Lifesaver as eaten in the back room of a dry cleaning shop while hyperventilating through your nose” and you’ve about got it.

I can’t gnaw the little individual wrappers open fast enough.

The wrapper copy, though … that’s just a little bonus.

“Admiring feelings of a graceful lady.”

Who works at the dry cleaning shop down the street.

And rubs her armpits with 409.
