Funny House

GateO.k. So the polarizer went into a second day of attraction. I closed up shop before going to get Ben, mounted up and rode down the block to catch a few shots of what I’m just referring to as “The Funny House.”

It’s just one of those places with exuberant yard decor. I don’t know what else to say about it, except that no wide shot could do it any justice, so I settled on a few details. I think I need to go back.

Binky Update

I think Ben’s happier without the binky. Cherie said that his periods of upset over whatever cheeses him off during the day passed faster today than yesterday, now that he’s apparently figured out that there’s no binky to find to make it all better.

I think this is another one of those “Oh … he didn’t break” moments. We were expecting more of a tussle.

Guess Where Portland is a pretty fun flickr group for other Portlanders. pdx seems to have the most members of any of the Portland-related groups — There are some really nice shots in there.
